Privacy law
GoalieStraps is the data controller for the processing. Full company details – company name, company registration number, address and contact routes – can be found on the pageTerms & conditions.
What data we collect
When you place an order, we process your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number, and details of your order and payment. If you create an account, your login details and order history will also be saved. If you contact us by email, what you write will be saved as long as the case is ongoing.
We never receive or store your card details. The payment is handled directly by our payment provider.
Why we process the data
In order to complete the purchase with you: receive the order, ship the goods, provide you with tracking information and handle returns, complaints and warranty matters. That support in the law is called contract performance.
In order to comply with the Accounting Act, the documentation for each purchase must be saved for seven years. It is a legal obligation and applies even if you ask us to delete other things.
If you have provided your email address for newsletters, we will process it with your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each mailing.
Who we share the data with
Your name and address will be handed over to PostNord for the parcel to reach you. Payment details are handled by our payment provider. The website is hosted by our web host, and emails are sent through our email provider. All of these process the data on our behalf and may not use it for anything else. We will never resell your data.
How long we save them
Order data is saved for seven years according to the Accounting Act. If you have an account, the information remains as long as the account exists – if you cancel it, we will delete it, except for what the accounting requires. Email conversations are cleared when the case is closed.
Cookies
The store only uses the cookies needed for the site to work: to keep track of your shopping cart and to keep you logged in. They are set only when you add something to the cart or log in, and therefore require no consent. We do not use any cookies for advertising or tracking.
Your rights
You have the right to know what information we have about you, have incorrect information corrected and in many cases have them deleted.
